Taapero oli enemmän kuin innoissaan koristelupuuhissa.
It was like magic - when November turned to December suddenly there were Christmas lights in almost every house on our street. Some had more, some had less, colours and flashing. Beautiful. A week later also we got our tree and lights up. I put the tree up on Friday night, after a few attempts even managed to have the lights about right and on Saturday morning the tree was ready for our more than happy Toddler to start decorating.
Even though I've been regretting leaving my Christmas decorations at home in Finland I must say I'm pretty happy with our tree this year. Some little things I will still need to get, for example, I haven't really found a nice top star yet. On the other hand I found some other amazing things, like my absolute favourite this year which is this pretty kitty:
When you wake up before seven in the morning you get a lot done in a day. So already before noon we had not just decorated a tree but also enjoyed a Christmas party. At Finnish School we had a chance to enjoy Christmas Gospel and meet Father Christmas, too.
Toddler couldn't wait to sit on Father Christmas' lap but once there got a bit shy, so quite a short chat this time.
Jokos sinä olet päässyt juttelemaan Joulupukin kanssa tänä vuonna?
Have you already had a chance to catch-up with Father Christmas this year?
